    • Joining one or more of our commissions

    • Volunteering at our events

    • Writing op-eds for us that align with our foundational principles

    • Applying to the executive board when there are postings

  • A commission is an arm of the foundation responsible for policy research and advocacy relating to their specific mandate. Each commission is made up of youth, community leaders, academics, and legislators serving in a non-voting capacity. The leadership of the commission is shared between an election within the respective commission for a chair, and a director of the foundation is responsible for oversight upon appointment from the executive director.

  • The Civic Clarity Foundation officially maintains organizational non-partisanship. Our executive board and commissions are composed of individuals with diverse viewpoints, party memberships, and ideological perspectives. However, through disagreement, we strive to find consensus. The Civic Clarity Foundation stays committed to our principles of governmental transparency, accountability, and the role of youth in our democracy.
